Treasury of Atreus

The Treasury of Atreus is another large Tholos tomb at Mycenae

Close up we see the entrance has the obligatory triangle arch This tomb is quite large, being some 10 meters high in the center

There is a small adjoining room off the main area, when Mycenae was discovered by Schliemann this tomb contained bodies and much treasure
