The Conciergerie
The Conciergerie is a former Royal Palace turned main Prison of the French Revolution 
  
A prison since 1391 the two towers are known as the Caesar & Silver Towers
  
However, during the middle ages the palace was one of the finest in the world 
  
It is located on the rive seine on the same little island as
Notre Dame
  
Further to the right is the Bonbec Tower which housed a torture chamber  
During the terror of the revolution some 2600 people where sent to the guillotine 
the most famous being Marie Antoinette
